15U Take 3rd Place in AAU D1 State Championship

The Reign 15's took 3rd place overall at the AAU D1 District Championships this past weekend after losing in the semi-finals, but then turning around and beating Team 1 On 1 from Greensboro in the 3rd/4th place game.

Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions

Reign 17U made it to the consolation final four with a record of 3-1 before losing to the eventual winner of the consolation bracket. We were one of 8 teams out of 64 that made it to the final day of the tournament.

17U Runner Up Finish at Big Shots

The 17U Reign team finished as the Runner-up in the NCAA Certified Big Shots event in Clemson, SC. Several college coaches were on hand to watch a convincing semifinal victory as well as a close loss in the finals (by 3 pts) that came down to the wire. So far this season the team has made it to the finals in all three tournaments it has entered.

15U Win Pool at AAU D1 District Pool Play

The 15U Reign team competed in the AAU D1 District Championship Pool Play and went 2-0 to win their pool.

15U and 17U Win Super Regional

Our 15U and 17U teams both took home 1st place in the Southern Premiere Hoops AAU Super Regional. Congratulations to both teams!

Jay Bilas joins Reign coaching staff

ESPN basketball analyst and former four-year starter for Duke University, Jay Bilas, has joined the Reign and will assist with player development for 16U & 17U teams.

17U finish 2nd in Royals AAU Super Regional

Our 17U team came in 2nd place in the Royals hosted AAU Super Regional tournament in Charlotte, NC the weekend of March 23-25.

15U Win CBC March Madness

Our 15U team won the March Madness tournament hosted by CBC by beating CBC McClinton in the finals. The Reign were led by Kishawn Pritchett, Hunter Seacat, and David Scott.

Logan Kosmalski and Brendan Winters Join the Reign

Former Davidson Wildcats and professional players, Logan Kosmalski and Brendan Winters, have been brought on to coach and expand the Charlotte Reign organization.

Reign Announce Plans to Expand Organization

Beginning this spring, the Reign will be expanding by forming a 16U team and 15U North team to add to their current 17U and 12U teams.

17U Have Great Showing at 'AAU Super Showcase' 2011

The Charlotte Reign finished 40th out of 156 teams from across the country at the invitation-only 'AAU Super Showcase' held at the Disney/ESPN facilities in Orlando, Florida.
